- The following organizations are eligible to apply: · Not-for-profit organizations, including think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations · Public and private educational institutions · For-profit organizations · Public International Organizations · U.S. government agencies Applications submitted by for-profit entities may be subject to additional review following the panel selection process. Additionally, the Department of State prohibits profit to for-profit or commercial organizations under its assistance awards. Profit is defined as any amount in excess of allowable direct and indirect costs. Program overview
The TIP Office invites applications for projects to combat all forms of child trafficking as part of a potential Child Protection Compact (CPC) between the United States and a recipient country proposed by the applicant. A CPC is a multi-year plan developed jointly by the United States and another government to strengthen capacity to effectively prosecute and convict child traffickers, provide comprehensive care and support for child victims, and prevent child trafficking in all its forms.
